Every program I used (besides etcher) seemed to be successful writing the image, however trying to boot to the usb simply goes into a bios boot back loop.

Etcher had the worst results, making the usb stick unusable, had to format and recover the full volume size and format again before it was usable again. No errors with the stick, I’ve tried 2 different ones, one of which I use regularly for kali, mint and various trouble shooting (like gparted live). I’ve tried Universal USB Installer, Wubi, Yumi, Etcher and Rufus… none have made a bootable USB stick.
